As an employee at Martin-Baker, along with every other colleague, I play an important role in the provision of an aircrews life support system.
Having joined Martin-Baker in 2021, I have progressed from working on sub-assemblies to becoming an Assembly Inspector within Sub Assembly section of Manufacturing Department. Progressing from the assembly of the components to now being trusted to use the skills I have learnt to carry out the final checks on those components, ensuring they meet the required specification of build which includes checking stress, temperature and measurement. Every aspect of our contribution is integral to the safe and proper operation of each and every Ejection Seat.
What makes us all so proud of our product? the importance of it to the aircrew. With every flight they make they put their full trust in the success of our expertise and our product. It is paramount that we put our full care and attention into every minute, detailed part of the ejection seat to fully meet their expectations.
Working within Martin-Baker means we are part of a team and that team works together to protect the lives of aircrew around the world. We are all contributing to just one essential piece of equipment. That is what makes us proud of the name Martin-Baker.
