Training
As the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats we require continuous personal and professional development of every employee. We believe in the importance of blended learning and offer a mix of both traditional face-to-face and online training.
Our dedicated classroom allows our own Training Partners, together with external training providers, a pleasant environment away from your place of work to aid learning and development. Our skilled Training Partners create and deliver specific technical training, product familiarisation & awareness and process work instructions to help in your daily tasks.
We have specific training equipment, such as the Mitutoyo Inspection toolkit and we are now embarking on the use of 360 degree cameras and AR to create visual training aids.
We also deliver ‘Soft skills’ – to compliment your technical knowledge and ‘ Well-being’ – to help maintain your personal well-being.
Induction
On day 1, as a key element of onboarding, we provide a comprehensive Induction programme to welcome you into the Martin-Baker family. We give you the necessary requirements as you embark on your journey through Martin-Baker.
You get to meet other new starters and make friends, receive Health & Safety and HR awareness, complete any outstanding paperwork together with a detailed campus tour are essential elements of your first day at Martin-Baker.
Our Training partners then take you personally to your receiving manager, where your induction continues in your place of work.
At Martin-Baker, we value the importance and valuable contribution each employee will make and so aim to make your first day enjoyable but effective.
Learning Management System (LMS)
We now have a brand-new Learning Management System, which contains a variety of online training courses to help in your role and to develop you as you learn and grow.
As soon as you start employment at Martin-Baker, you will automatically have access to our LMS portal. Here you will be able to complete all mandatory courses, specific work-related courses and courses that may be of interest chosen from the available library. You have the ability to complete them at your own pace according to your own schedule.
