I have been employed at MBA for over 8 years, and having started as an Apprentice, I came to the Company with limited experience. The Company has supported me both in sponsoring me to gain academic qualifications but has also trained me up to the CNC Manufacturing Engineer that I am today. I love the department that I work in as I have a hands-on role which challenges me every day, there are no Groundhog Days as I am constantly learning new things and experiences.
My department is where we build the USRM (Under Seat Rocket Motor) and this is such an integral part of the ejection seat, as it helps push the seat away from the cockpit. It means that teamwork is so, so important in order to ensure that we machine the parts correctly and that they work first time!
