Machine Shop Traineeship
The machine shop traineeship is designed to kick start your CNC machining career. The traineeship consists of in-house training on various manual and CNC machinery, such as lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, mill turns and sliding head machining centres. The program also teaches you how to read and interpret engineering drawings and use metrology equipment to inspect and verify components.
The program is run by our mentor who himself has completed a 4 year apprenticeship in the machine shop and supervised the machining cells. The trainee program is designed to be the fastest and most effective way to become a fully competent CNC operator.
