The Royal International Air Tattoo

Fairford, England – Martin-Baker showcased its wares at the Royal International Air Tattoo this weekend (July 14-16) at Royal Air Force Base Fairford in Gloucestershire. The company hosted a booth at Fairford and had the US16E ejection seat simulator there for all to view and try. The US16E is currently fitted into the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter which is now flown by the Royal Air Force. “The US-16E was an undertaking more than a decade in the making, and it supports the most advanced fighter jet in the world,” said Andrew Martin, Martin-Baker Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. “We’re extremely proud of that seat and it will be supporting RAF pilots for decades to come. In addition to the new seats, Martin-Baker supports RAF pilots flying the Hawk, Typhoon and Tornado.
