MARTIN-BAKER JOINS JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

It was with great pride that Martin-Baker was selected to represent Buckinghamshire, along with Mini for Berkshire and Vodafone for Oxfordshire, at a three counties Diamond Jubilee Garden Party in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. The event was organised by the Lord Lieutenants of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and held on Monday 25th June at the Henley Business School to showcase the thriving industry and community in the Thames Valley.

Whilst the Queen visited the various charities and community groups, the Duke of Edinburgh did a tour of the companies representing the three counties, ending up with a visit to Martin-Baker’s marquee.

James Martin, Joint Managing Director said, “The Duke, a long term supporter of the Company, commented on how impressed he was that Martin-Baker continues to thrive, despite the challenging economic climate. We chatted briefly about the JSF programme and were able to show him the latest JSF seat which he found extremely interesting.”
