Martin-Baker is pleased to announce the second Centre of Excellence (CoE) award to the escape system maintenance facilities operated by Destini Prima Sdn Dhd, (“Destini Prima”) Malaysia.

Destini Prima, a wholly owned subsidiary of a public listed company, Destini Berhad, has its offices in Kuala Lumpur and its maintenance facilities at RMAF Base Butterworth and Kuantan. Since 1999, Destini Prima has carried out overhaul and maintenance activities on over 336 ejection seats, including the: CH11A, BA10LH and IT10LK seat types. They support the Royal Malaysian Air Force and intend to support other customers within the Asian region with spares, tooling, test equipment calibration and technical assistance.

Martin-Baker’s vision of a CoE organisation is a facility devoted to obtaining the highest standards of achievement in escape system maintenance, being focused on using best practices with regards to standards, methodologies, tools, supply chains and knowledge which are considered as typical approaches to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO).
