As a former Armourer for 22 years, I may not have ever worked as part of the seat bays but spent 8.5 years at RAF Coningsby in the ESA and RUAS. I remember spending hrs sorting out the cartridges, seat packs etc for issue to the sqns for refitting seats to aircraft. I also spent 3 years at RAF Marham and RAF Coltishall in AGSE sorting seat stands and other Armourer related equipment.
