EJECTION NOTICES
Due to the sensitive nature of our operators deployments, Martin-Baker are not automatically made aware of ejections. We rely on official communication from our operators or confirmed accident reports when they are made available.
We are also unable to provide further details on any incident other than the basic reported facts you may see listed below.

On December 6th 2025, a Nigerian Alpha Jet crashed during a routine test flight from NAF Base Kainji.
Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker F10LN Ejection Seat.

On 14th November, an Indian PC-7 MkII crashed near Tambaram Air Base, Chennai.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IN11A Ejection Seat.

On Sunday 26th October, an F/A-18F Super Hornet from VFA-22 crashed in the South China Sea.
Both pilots successfully ejected using the US14A (NACES) Ejection Seat.

On 30th September, a U.S. Navy T-45 Goshawk operated by TAW-2 crashed south of NAS Kingsville, Texas.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US14A (NACES) Ejection Seat.
This is the 161st successful ejection from the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat (NACES) since it first entered service in 1992.

September 1968 – Following the meeting of an ejectee at Tailhook Symposium, we were made aware of an ejection from an F-4 Phantom II in September 1968.
This record has now been verified.

On September 10th, a Pakistan Air Force Mirage 5 ROSE aircraft crashed on a routine training mission in Sargodha.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker PRM4 Ejection Seat.

On August 21st, a Malaysian Air Force F/A-18D Hornet crashed shortly after take-off from Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport.
Both pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US14A (NACES) Ejection Seat.

On 20th August, a U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet crashed off the coast of Virginia. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US14A (NACES) Ejection Seat.

On Wednesday 30th July, a U.S. Navy F-35C Lightning II crashed near NAS Leemore. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US16E Ejection Seat.

On July 30th 2025, A-29A Super Tucano was involved in a midair collision over Porto Ferreira. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker BR10LCX Ejection Seat.

On May 7th, a Finnish Defence Force (FDF) F/A-18C Hornet crashed while practicing for an airshow near Rovaniemi in Lapland. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-baker SF-14A (NACES) Seat.

On May 6th, a USN F/A-18F Super Hornet from VFA-11 crashed into the Red Sea after a failed arrestment occurred during a night landing on the USS Harry S Truman. Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US14A (NACES) Seat.

On the 15th April 2025, a Dassault Mirage V ROSE crashed in Ratta Tibba, Pakistan, after a reported technical malfunction.
Both pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker PRM4 seat.

On March 25th during a practice demonstration, two Patrouille De France Alpha Jet aircraft collided near Saint-Dizier.
Both pilots and a passenger successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker F10LN Ejection Seat.

On Friday 7th March, an Indian Air Force Jaguar crashed during a training exercise near Mandlai in the Ambala District.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IN9B Ejection Seat.

On Saturday 15th February, a RoCAF AT-5 Brave Eagle crashed off the coast of Taitung.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker X12J Ejection Seat.

On 12th February 2025, a USN EA-18G Growler crashed into the San Diego Harbour opposite the Naval Air Force Station North Island.
Both pilots successfully ejected before impact using the Martin-Baker US14A seat.

On the 6th February, an Indian Air Force Mirage 2000 crashed near Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker F10QA Ejection Seat.

On 28th January 2025, A USAF F-35A Lightning II aircraft crashed during the approach to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.
The pilot ejected successfully using the Martin-Baker US16E seat.
This was our 10th successful ejection from a Lockheed Martin F-35 aircraft.

In the early hours of Sunday 22nd December, a U.S Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet crashed in the Red Sea, off the coast of Yemen.
Equipped with Martin-Baker US14A NACES Ejection Seats, both aircrew successfully ejected.

Over the last six months, our team has conducted a thorough review of our historic ejectee database. This detailed research revealed 35 previously unrecorded ejections, adding 35 new members to the Ejectee Tie Club! This brings our new total to 7767 lives saved to date.

On Friday 1st November, a Brazilian Air Force EMB-312 Tucano aircraft crashed whilst flying near Pirassununga Air Base.
The pilot successfully ejection using the Martin-Baker BR8LC Seat. This now brings the total of EMB-312 Tucano ejections to 43, the first of which occurred on 9th August 1982.

On Tuesday 22nd October 2024, a Brazilian Air Force F-5EM Tiger II crashed near Natal, Brazil after departing from Natal Air Base.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker BR10LF Ejection Seat.

Yesterday, a RoCAF Mirage 2000-5 crashed off the coast of Taiwan during a night-time training mission. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker F10QA seat.

On the 24th July 2024, an Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon crashed during Exercise Pitch Black in the Northern Territory, Australia.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker Mk16A ejection seat. This is the 5th recorded ejection from the Typhoon.

On 4th July 2024, Martin-Baker can confirm a historic US ejection from an OV-1C Mohawk in July 1969. Both pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker MkJ5D seat over South East Asia.
Martin-Baker have now saved the lives of 3,600 US aircrew since 1951.

On July 1st, a pilot of the Hellenic Air Force successfully ejected at Tanagra Air Base from a Mirage 2000-5 aircraft from a Martin-Baker F10QA seat.

On Wednesday 5th June 2024, a Pakistan Air Force Block 2 JF-17 aircraft crashed near the Jhang district. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker PK16LE Seat.

An F-35B, destined for the United States Marine Corps crashed after take-off from Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque. The aircraft had stopped for refueling on route to Edwards Air Force Base.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US16E Ejection seat. This is the 9th life saved by the US16E seat to date.

A Mirage III, operated by the Pakistan Air Force was on a routine operational training mission from the Shorkot Rafiqui airbase when it crashed near Chak 412 JB Cheemian Wali in Shorkot tehsil, Jhang, 12 km away from the airbase.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker PRM6 Ejection Seat.

A Turkish Air Force F-5E aircraft crashed inside the perimeter of the Konya 3rd Main Jet Base. The aircraft is registered to the Turkish Stars display team and was training aerobatic manoeuvres when the accident occurred.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker T16J Ejection Seat.

Today, an Indian Air Force HAL Tejas LCA Aircraft crashed during an operational training sortie near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IN16G Seat.

On February 13th, an Indian Air Force Hawk Mk.132 crashed during a training mission near Kalaikunda Airbase in Bengal.
Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IN10LH Ejection Seat.

On the 21st July 1987, a Swiss Air Force Hawker Hunter F.58A experienced repeat engine failures while returning to Emmen Military Base.
The pilot successfully ejected using their Mk 3H seat.

A PC-21 trainer aircraft operated by the Swiss Air Force crashed during its landing at Emmen Military Airbase. Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker CH16C Seat.

With the help and collaboration from aircraft associations, we have managed to uncover 9 additional historic ejections occurring between 1966-1968. Several of which were from USAF RF-4C Phantom II aircraft, one a USN F-4J Phantom II and one a RJAF Hawker Hunter F.6.

An MB-339C operated by SDTS crashed during take-off from Nîmes-Garons Airport in Southern France. Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IT10LK Seat.

On Sunday 17th September, a USMC F-35B Lightning II crashed in North Charleston, South Carolina. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US16E seat, which has now saved 8 lives to date.

On Saturday 16th September, an Italian MB-339 aircraft from the Frecce Tricolori aerobatics team crashed at Turin Airport. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IT10F seat.

Martin-Baker confirmed an historic U.S Navy ejection from an F-4B Phantom II. The accident occurred on the 17th October 1965 over Vietnam, and has now been recorded as a successful ejection using the Martin-Baker H5A seat.

An RSAF Tornado crashed near King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran. Both aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker SA10A Seat. Martin-Baker have now recorded 70 Saudi Arabian lives saved to date.

An Indian Air Force HJT-16 Kiran II Aircraft crashed near Chamrajnagar, Karnataka. Both pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker H4HA Seat.

A US Navy Northrop F-5N crashed into the sea off Key West, Florida. The pilot successfully ejected using the recently upgraded Martin-Baker US16J Seat.

A Spanish Air Force EF-18M Hornet crashed during an airshow at Zaragoza Airport, Spain. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker SJU-9 Seat.

A Finnish Air Force Hawk 51 aircraft crashed south of Kueruu. Both pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker SF10B Seat.

On 25th February, an Egyptian Air Force solo pilot successfully ejected from a K-8E aircraft using the Martin-Baker EP10LW Seat.

A US Navy T-6B crashed near Foley, Alabama. Both pilots ejected successfully using the Martin-Baker US16LA Seat.

On 26th December, two ROKAF aircrew ejected from their KA-1 Woongbi aircraft after take-off from Wonju Air Base. The aircrew successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker KR16LF Seat.

A USAF F-35B aircraft crashed at Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth. The pilot ejected successfully using the Martin-Baker US16E Ejection Seat.

A Turkish Air Force F-5 crashed in Konya after bird strike. The pilot ejected successfully using the Martin-Baker T16J Ejection Seat.

A French Air and Space Force Mirage 2000-5 crashed in a forest near Luxeuil-St-Bains. The pilot ejected successfully using the Martin-Baker F10QA Ejection Seat.

A USAF F-35A crashed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US16E Ejection Seat.

An Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) Hawk 209 skidded off the runway following a tire-burst on take-off. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker IA10LH Ejection Seat.

A US Navy T-45C Goshawk crashed on approach to NAS Kingsville. The solo pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker NACES (US14A) Ejection Seat.

A ROKAF F-4E crashed into the Yellow Sea. Both Aircrew ejected successfully using the Martin-Baker H7AF Ejection Seat.
