A Turkish Air Force F-5E aircraft crashed inside the perimeter of the Konya 3^rd Main Jet Base. The aircraft is registered to the Turkish Stars display team and was training aerobatic manoeuvres when the accident occurred.

The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker T16J Ejection Seat.
