It gives me great pleasure with sharing my experience as a Martin-Baker ejection seat mechanic. I’ve been serving in Marine Aviation for over 24 years, in which I spent 13 years working on the SJU-5 and SJU-17 ejection seats.
During those 13 years I assisted and inspected countless ejection seats on the F/A-18 Hornet, and had the privilege to serve alongside some of the best mechs in the Corps. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t reflect with great pride that I was and still am a MB seat mech!
