My name is Steve Richardson. I started work on MB seats in 1978, initially working on Hunter, Hawk and Jet Provost seats (MK2, Mk3, Mk4 and Mk10) then working on Phantom seats (Mk7) and Jaguar (Mk9) and Sea Harrier (Mk10h) seats as well as Tornado and the occasional Canberra and even a Meteor (Mk1e) seat. Over the years I have seen a few of the ejectees who have been grateful for the life-saving seats that MB have produced. I have very few pictures of the seats I have worked on but this is one of them from the 23 years I have been working with ejection seats as an RAF Armourer.
