During my 15 year career as an armourer in the RAF commencing in 1990. I Fitted and removed Martin-Baker Mk 10 ejection seats on all Mks of Tornado. Squadrons served on were 617 sqn, 31 sqn, 11 sqn and 5 sqn. I was lucky enough to visit your factory in 1995 and was impressed by innovative development of the new generation of seats. I always enjoyed fitting and removing your seats in the variety of theatres that I served in.
This is an image of me actually about to go up in a Tornado F3 In the Falkland Islands in 1996! Thankfully I didn’t require to use it although I can vouch how comfortable it was to sit on for the 1hr 45 minute flight!
