After 10 years in the RAF I joined BAe for the next 5 years. This is me in the rear seat of a RSAF Tornado ADV. While working for British Aerospace doing checks on weapons systems we also carried out before and after flight services of the seats to ensure all was in order.

Hot, sweaty and very busy in the early 90’s as you can see by the hair cut!

Here are a couple of eye catching patches that we had during the first Gulf Conflict too! A time where a fair few seats were called upon and many aircrew were brought back safely to share their stories too!

I am now a driving instructor in Queensland, Australia and on the very rare occasion would liked to have had one in the car, but that’s another story!
