Typically lasting four years, the scheme offers the training, guidance and support you need to develop valuable skills, earn sought-after qualifications and establish yourself in your chosen career.
As well as training you for a well-paid career, we’ll pay you a competitive salary from day one of your apprenticeship. To find details of our other benefits, head to our careers page.

Engineering Apprenticeship
- Qualifications Required – You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs including in English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (i.e. Physics or Chemistry). You will need to be graded 9-5 in Mathematics and 9-4 in English and Science.
- Experience – All our apprentices will get the opportunity to gain hands-on practical experience working alongside some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in our business. Apprentices in manufacturing experience a range of placements enabling them to learn the processes and skills that are essential for a career in Engineering.
- What else are we looking for?
- Beyond your academic qualifications, we’ll be looking for evidence that you are genuinely interested and enthusiastic about developing a career in engineering. Make sure that your CV shows your interest in engineering; for example, if you have completed an engineering project at school or attend an engineering club, make sure you mention it on your CV, giving specific examples too.
- All our roles contain a component of working in a team and we are looking for people who can work well as part of a team and perhaps ultimately want to lead teams. Your CV should also give examples of teamworking if you have them. This could be gained in a number of ways: at school, with your family, in a sports team, at work, in voluntary organisations (such as the Guides, Scouts or Cadets), or as part of religious or community activities. Be prepared to discuss your experiences and what you learned about yourself and others.
